N.Design 1.4 Release

I’m happy to tell you that N.Design 1.4 is now available for download. I’ll be updating the site later so N.Design has it owns page, but please feel free to download and comment in the meantime.

UPDATE: Updated to N.Design 1.4 (1.1.1). This release contains minor fixes for a few cosmetic issues. This release should fix the problems with 1.1.

    Theme is great but i have a problem. Avatars doesn’t appear in topics. I checked user setting in user CP and everything is OK.

    Hi Dito, can you post a link to your forum? This problem probably isn’t related to N.Design, but I can still help you with it.

    Hi ditto.. Since the problem is affecting both N.Design and the Afresh theme, its likely due to some sort of misconfiguration in the admin panel. If you like you can make my account (quacktacular) an admin and I’ll se what I can do about fixing it up for you.

    Sorry for the doubled commnet.
    I see the default aling in posts is (left). Please Brendan make it (center) due to the arabic language members use in posting.
    Also can i have only one banner instead of the 10 banners ? for saving my bandwits.

    Yes, choose the banner you like the best and delete the others. You can also link directly to it to save CPU cycles, change the logo path for N.Design (in the themes section) to /images/ndesign/random/ and then the file name of whatever banner you choose.

    Your avatars should be showing up now. I centered everything, is that what you wanted or did you want only posts centered?

    Hello.
    I’m wondering if there is a way to expand the forum tables (for topics and posts). I know you have to edit some part of the global.css, but which?

    Hi Yash,
    Do you want to make the whole forum wider? You can open the #container selector in the theme editor, then change the width statement to whatever you like. Keep in mind many people are still using screens not much wider than 1000px. Also, making the forum wider will make the shadow disappear, and you’ll need to adapt the banners.

    Please tell me if that was what you were looking for.

    Hey, i’m trying to create my own banners for the forums and make 2 of them cycle each time the site is loaded, like the 10 before did.

    I took out the 10 other ones and put in my two, but now the forums only seem to show the image with the lower number eg. first image named ’1.jpg’ second named ’2.lpg’

    Any way to solve this? Thanks in advance.

    That’s strange, I didn’t actually write the random script. Its included in the phpBB version by N.Design Studio. http://www.ndesign-studio.com/

    It might just be those are the images loaded in your browser’s cache..
