I have a problem i just got an iphone 4s and people that dont have iphones are tying to send my picture messages but im not riceveing them :/ and im with telus any suugestions?

same problem on unlocked iphone 4. can see mms but not send. whether iit is on koodo or telus omg!

i got an iphone on ebay 3Gs locked to rogers but i was able to unlock it and jailbreak the iphone (since this iphone is 41 weeks product)
i have a TELUS Sim card and also i have a data plan.
after i unlocked the iphone i put my sim card…in i can call and text (not sure about MMS but then i dont’ really MMS). The 3G signal is on if thats’ mean anything. When i tried to go online it gives me the “could not activate cellular data network”. but i input all the APN info i got correctly. but when i go to the carrier setting in the “ABOUT” part.. it’s only carrier 5.0 ALso when i go to updated from itune.. to 5.1.
the Cellular Data Network input no long exist. (i restored and unlocked the iphone a few times)
I am not sure what to do. please help ! thank you

Seems that way.. Do you have an unlocked phone or a Telus phone?I had to install the update and restart a few tomes for the mms button to even show up.

Yeah I loaded the damn file to my iPhone and it fixed the majority of my data issues – thank you muchly

Sadly MMS is still not enabled. Something about provisioning on the account with the phone – so perhaps we are running into an issue that requires a little more forethought?

UGh.. Telus stinks..

Had a terrible time with my texting to Rogers users.. big delays, sometimes perfect, sometimes the text would dissapear…
They blamed the CDMA network, so i upgraded to iphone 3gs.

Now im still having the same issue.. its garbage, i should have gone to rogers….

I cant send mms.. going to google “APN settings for Telus iPhone.” and see if that turns anything up..

I might have to cancel the contract (within 14 days) but the store said the iphone is not returnable… gasp

i was having a problem with my phone earlier in december only i couldnt send sms message, only mms. same thing though, they closed the tickets without telling me or fixing it. they did eventually.
now my problem is that i can’t make/receive calls/texts consistently. it works once in a while and its been like that for 4 days now.
anybody else having the same issue?

Sirus,

You may need to run a network update. You can find this when you plug into iTunes. (Not a FW update a network update). I had the same issue where the camera wasn’t there to attach images.

Also you may want to check that MMS Messaging is turned on in Settings > Messages. Or you may need to manually input your APN Server info. Do a Google search for APN settings for Telus iPhone.

When you’re writing a text there should be little camera button to the left of the text box.

Yes! I can not even figure out how to send a MMS at all on my 32gig iPhone 3gs.
